This page is about our trip to the beautiful state of Colorado.
The summer of 2011
was the year we went to visit Colorado and our friends Bob and Linda Hensley. We had a lot of fun going to many areas of this great state. We spent some time in the Woodland Park and enjoyed having Bob show us around his part of the state.
As you can see from this picture, it wasn’t
very warm. But the warmth of our Friends
made it very pleasant.
We enjoyed the beauty of the Rocky Mountain National Park very much.
We have such a beautiful country and
we love to tour it.
The mountains are just amazing, but the
pure mountain streams enhance it even more.
Another reason I enjoyed it even more is
because, many years ago I lived here in the Colorado Springs area. Which is about an
hour south of here. While in the Colorado Springs area we went to the Garden of the Goods.

While in the Colorado Springs area we went to the army base I was stationed at.
I was stationed just south of Colorado Springs at Fort Carson, right next to
Manitou Springs and the Brightmore at CheyenneMountain.
